Bottom line
The sleeper story is that PUMP just committed $230M to power generation equipment with zero binding contracts, only 75MW of non-binding LOIs, while their CFO mysteriously vanished. The market sees Q1 recovery with 12% sequential revenue growth, but that's masking a massive unhedged bet on a business pivot they can't seem to close deals for. The binding constraint isn't demand, it's their ability to actually convert Pro Power interest into contracts; Sam Sledge admitted 'we don't have any contracts in place today.' My view changes if they announce a binding Pro Power contract with real economics or explain why their CFO disappeared.

The 30-second version

  • Pro Power contracts mysteriously MIA despite 220MW on order
  • Fleet count guide down but they're spinning it as discipline
  • CFO vanished without explanation, just 'Interim Principal Financial Officer'
