Bottom line
The Envelope Tracker ramp into a new served market is huge but Russell's 'thousands of wafers per month' disclosure without revenue sizing is classic Tower obfuscation. Yes, SiPho is doubling, but that's decelerating from 3x to 2x growth while they burn cash on qualification delays. The real story: that China sourcing admission is structural share loss, not inventory correction, and mobile won't recover. The binding constraint is customer qualification timing at repurposed fabs, creating a utilization valley while cash burns on CapEx. Russell's tell: 'I honestly cannot forecast' mobile recovery after spending five minutes explaining why it should recover. My view changes if Q2 shows Fab 2/9 utilization above 70% with named Envelope Tracker customer wins.

The 30-second version

  • Envelope Tracker ramp in 300mm BCD is the sleeper revenue driver nobody's tracking
  • Silicon photonics 'doubling' narrative intact but growth is slowing from 3x to 2x
  • Mobile revenue collapsing 'upper teens' but management buried the China sourcing bombshell
