Bottom line
The sleeper story everyone's missing: Okta is becoming a channel-driven business with GSIs now central to their largest deals, creating a structural growth advantage as enterprises need implementation help for AI identity. The AI agent revenue is real but small, which actually creates massive upside optionality since it's not baked into conservative FY27 guidance. The binding constraint isn't demand (pipeline is strong) but sales capacity and partner scaling - they're adding reps methodically because productivity is finally working. Todd's most revealing quote: 'We don't want to disappoint anyone. We're going to make sure we work hard to exceed or meet or exceed the guidance' - unusually defensive for a growth CEO. My view changes if Q1 shows AI bookings accelerating meaningfully above the 30% new product mix, or if partner channel margins compress due to revenue sharing.

The 30-second version

  • THE SLEEPER: Partner channel quietly becoming the growth engine while everyone obsesses over AI
  • AI agent revenue materializes but guidance stays conservative because it's too early to model
  • New products hit 30% of bookings but individual product metrics disappeared
