Bottom line
The sleeper story is management's sudden refusal to disclose AI revenue percentage after making it a centerpiece metric just last quarter, suggesting either the growth rate would spook competitors or the denominator math has turned ugly. Yes, they beat Q4 expectations and raised guidance, but strip out the 25bps from M&A and organic growth of 1.25-3.25% is the worst in years despite all the AI transformation talk. The binding constraint is that AI productivity compression is eating their lunch faster than AI services can create new revenue streams, which explains both the weak guidance and the transparency breakdown. Parekh's dodge on the AI number ('Is it 10% or 15%, but we're not sharing') was remarkably clumsy for a usually polished CEO. My view changes if they return to transparent AI disclosure next quarter with strong sequential growth, but the sudden opacity suggests they're hiding something material.

The 30-second version

  • AI revenue is accelerating but management suddenly went dark on disclosure
  • Guidance implies worst organic growth in years despite 'strong' AI narrative
  • Europe revenue mix jumped to record levels while they're winding down a major auto client
