The sleeper story is demand acceleration - new patient starts doubled records while requiring expensive whole exome sequencing that management is celebrating despite margin pressure. The obvious revenue beat masks the real story of operating leverage finally kicking in, with $80M guide raise while holding OpEx flat. The binding constraint is no longer capital or capacity - it's commercial execution on coverage wins for the $250-300M non-covered tumor opportunity. Chapman's most revealing quote: 'We ran so many exomes for first-time patients, which, of course, is very good news' - they're willing to sacrifice short-term margins for long-term patient acquisition. My view changes if new patient adds revert to normal levels next quarter, suggesting Q2 was a one-time surge rather than sustainable acceleration.
