Natera (NTRA) Q1'25 Earnings Call

The sleeper story is Natera's stealth path to doubling revenue per test - they're processing ~1 million 22q tests annually at zero reimbursement, all built into current COGS, waiting for ACOG guidelines to flip the switch. The obvious headline is record Signatera growth, but the real story is 45% of US oncologists are already ordering - this isn't about new customer acquisition, it's about existing users expanding utilization on more patients. The binding constraint is implementation capacity (EMR integration, mobile phlebotomy infrastructure), not demand or competition. Steve's most revealing quote: 'Revenue growth is going to be accelerating above the level of volume growth' because they're building coverage for tests they already process. My view changes if commercial payer wins don't accelerate by Q3 despite the biomarker state policy publications.
