The sleeper story is international Crocs becoming larger than North America at $1.6B with China driving 30% growth while everyone focuses on the domestic turnaround. HeyDude cleanup is working (sell-through matches inventory) but the $45M writeoff was understated as markdown support continues into 2026. The binding constraint is promotional discipline - they're choosing brand health over near-term sales but stopped reporting the inventory metrics that would prove it's working. Management's most telling quote: 'We're not embedding anything from an upside standpoint into the P&L for AI initiatives' - refreshingly honest about experimental stage. My view changes if they restart Classic Clog promotions or international growth decelerates below 10% - either would signal the strategy isn't working.
