Bottom line
The sleeper story is Headless 360 creating an existential platform risk: customers can now access Salesforce entirely through APIs and MCP, potentially commoditizing the core platform while Anthropic builds competitive UI layers on top. The headline $1B Agentforce ARR masks deteriorating unit economics with token usage growing 6x faster than revenue. The binding constraint is token cost structure: they're eating massive OpenAI/Anthropic costs but can't price Agentforce high enough to maintain margins. Miguel: 'Anthropic usage through Q1 has exploded fivefold because they are using Sales Cloud from a headless perspective.' My view changes if they disclose positive gross margins on Agentforce or show token costs falling faster than pricing.

The 30-second version

  • The real story: Headless 360 is eating the core business from inside
  • Agentforce hit $1B ARR but token-to-revenue conversion is deteriorating
  • Tableau is the canary in the coal mine nobody's watching
