Bottom line
The sleeper story is PriceVantage launch - this is them pivoting from advertising marketplace to software subscriptions, targeting an additional $4B TAM with actual product-market fit. The obvious headline is solid 14% Marketplace growth, but the binding constraint is their deliberate choice to prioritize dealer acquisition over QARSD growth, creating near-term margin pressure. International is the real compounder with QARSD at only 1/3 of US levels and 'all the levers available.' Most revealing quote: 'We're testing ads below the AI response' became 'expanding our addressable market' - they can't figure out how to monetize AI engagement. My view changes if they quantify PriceVantage adoption rates or give specific AI revenue contribution in Q4.

The 30-second version

  • SLEEPER: PriceVantage is the real monetization story hidden inside 'data intelligence'
  • Strong quarter masked by deliberate dealer growth strategy creating QARSD headwinds
  • International is becoming the growth engine with 15% QARSD growth on 27% revenue growth
