Bottom line
The sleeper story is Embed 2.0 partnerships quietly scaling with NetSuite already live and nearly 1 million SMBs coming online through three major partners - this is massive distribution expansion nobody is properly modeling yet. The obvious headline is the profitability beat, but the real story is management finally executing on promises: AI agents launching ahead of schedule, cost structure getting serious attention with 6% RIF, and actual revenue from embedded partnerships. The binding constraint is still the rewards bleed in Spend & Expense - they keep promising to fix it but rewards hit 132 bps, up 10 bps YoY. Rene said 'we are uniquely positioned for this AI revolution' but the more revealing quote was Rohini admitting they're 'being prudent' on spend assumptions due to tariff impacts. My view changes if they actually deliver specific rewards optimization targets next quarter or if Embed partnerships show measurable revenue contribution.

The 30-second version

  • Embedded partnerships are the real growth driver quietly scaling in the background
  • Core revenue beat at 14% growth but profitability explosion is the real story
  • Spend & Expense rewards creep continues despite management claims they're 'scrutinizing' it
