Bottom line
The headline is clean beat-and-raise: revenue $17.4B (+10.5%), EPS $3.82 (+7c), third consecutive Skyrizzy guidance raise this year. But look at the full-year EPS guidance midpoint: it's $13.97 this quarter and it was $13.97 last quarter, meaning the 7-cent beat simply disappeared into the model rather than flowing through, a sleeper tell that the market isn't pricing. The binding constraint on the next leg of growth isn't demand (Skyrizzy/Rinvoq combined are doing $6B of incremental growth this year), it's payer contract cycles and Medicare timing: management conceded outright in Q&A that 'we've missed sort of the Medicare window for 27' on Juvemo, pushing broad coverage to 2028. My view changes if management provides a clear EPS bridge next quarter explaining where the beat went, and if the Skyrizzy NBRX/MBRX trend data that disappeared this quarter comes back with numbers that still support the '1-in-2' capture claim.

The 30-second version

  • The 'raise' that isn't: full-year EPS midpoint hasn't moved an inch since Q2
  • Beat-and-raise headline is real, but the binding constraint is payer/Medicare timing, not demand
  • The Skyrizzy psoriasis share proof point got vaguer, not more precise
