Bottom line
The sleeper story here is that AI data center growth is decelerating for the third straight quarter (50%→30%→20% sequential), but management is burying that by pivoting to the flashier full-year 'doubled' framing. The obvious headline, in-line $150M revenue and 70bps of margin improvement, is real but secondary to the fact that the business is still structurally cash-constrained by expensive debt: $32M of the $54M Q4 cash burn went to interest on first-lien notes now at 16%. The binding constraint on this story isn't AI demand, it's the capital structure, and the quiet disappearance of the $1.2B cash disclosure alongside a near-total CapEx freeze suggests management is managing liquidity more defensively than the confident tone ('we continue to gain further confidence in our path to profitability') lets on. My view changes if they restore full liquidity disclosure next quarter and show AI sequential growth reaccelerate above 20%; if it decelerates again or they go quiet on the rate altogether, that confirms the AI story is losing momentum faster than the stock price reflects.

The 30-second version

  • AI data center growth is decelerating fast, but they're hiding it behind 'doubled' framing
  • Headline: revenue in-line at $150M again, margins ticking up. Reality: cash is burning on debt service, not operations
  • The $1.2B cash cushion vanished from the script
