Bottom line
The sleeper story is that TT has effectively presold 2027 with $6B in backlog while everyone fixates on quarterly data center orders. The obvious 50% bookings growth is real but they're hitting capacity constraints ('asking more from suppliers,' emergency CapEx raises, new COO on the call) that nobody's pricing in. The binding constraint isn't demand, it's their ability to scale operations without margin collapse. Management's tell: 'Many times, including myself, we'll meet with the leaders of these companies.' CEO personally managing supplier relationships means it's worse than they're saying. My view changes if Q3 shows improving leverage despite the growth, proving they've solved the scaling challenge.

The 30-second version

  • The sleeper: They're quietly building a $6B fortress for 2027 while everyone obsesses over Q2 data center orders
  • Applied bookings up 130% looks amazing until you realize they're stretching capacity and can't say no to orders
  • Middle East revenue crater hidden in segment reporting: down 30% with no recovery timeline
