Fastly (FSLY) Q4'25 Earnings Call

The sleeper story is memory inflation becoming a structural margin headwind just as Fastly hits their growth stride - 65% CapEx increase driven by 25-75% component costs will pressure the gross margin leverage they're celebrating. Security revenue hitting 32% growth with multiple 8-figure competitive displacements shows this isn't just upsell anymore, it's a real product portfolio. The binding constraint is now supply chain and component costs, not demand. 'After switching to Fastly, the customer experienced their best Digital Day on record' - that's the performance moat paying off in enterprise wins. My view changes if Q1 gross margins stay above 63% despite the CapEx ramp - that would prove their efficiency gains are outrunning inflation.
