The sleeper story is RPO accounting games masking sales execution constraints - they 'discovered an error' requiring historical restatements just as new CFO implements 'rigorous budgeting.' The obvious headline is record profitability, but it's built on front-loaded bookings and $1.6M of cost reversals. The binding constraint is sales coverage, not technology - international expansion is pure headcount, not CapEx, because they already have global infrastructure. As Rich admitted, 'that one benefit from that one quarter and that big deal really helped' the security growth. My view changes if they can prove Q4 booking linearity normalizes and security growth sustains without the large deal impact.
The 30-second version
- RPO accounting 'error' recast creates fake growth comp - the real binding constraint is sales coverage
- Security cross-sell hit $34M but it's front-loaded - the platform strategy actually works
- New CFO immediately tightens ROI discipline while old CFO was managing working capital games
