nCino (NCNO) Q3'26 Earnings Call

The sleeper story is that AI is becoming a price umbrella allowing nCino to pull forward renewals and accelerate platform pricing conversion. However, management explicitly walked back AI monetization for fiscal 2026, shifting to pure adoption mode - a significant timeline regression buried under strong execution beats. The binding constraint is customer change management pace, not technology development, as Sean admitted they're 'advancing AI capabilities at a pace well ahead of customers' ability to adopt them.' Most revealing quote: 'We are seeing early renewals of customers that want access to our AI features immediately' - this revenue acceleration isn't modeled by the Street. My view changes if Q4 platform pricing conversions fall short of the 10% uplift target or if Banking Advisor adoption stalls among the 110+ customer cohort.
