RH (NYSE: RH) · Q2 FY2026 · EARNINGS ANALYSIS

RH: The refund is real. The recovery still has to arrive.

Q2 FY2026 | Revenue rose 2.6%, but EBITDA excluding the tariff refund fell 33.3%. A bigger fourth-quarter bet now carries the year.

Published September 11, 2026 · Quarter ended August 1, 2026

RH beat the quarterly revenue and margin guidance it gave in June. That deserves credit. It does not establish a recovery in underlying earnings. Revenue reached $922.2 million, while GAAP operating income fell 16.5%. Net income nevertheless rose 16.4% to $60.2 million, helped by tariff refunds and a swing to income from equity-method investments. The most useful operating comparison is RH's own normalized adjusted EBITDA: $123.5 million, down 33.3% from $185.1 million. [1, financial tables T-1 and T-12]

Three things matter for investors: the earnings benefit from refunds, the composition of cash generation, and whether the backlog and RH Estates turn into delivered revenue in the fourth quarter. Management has supplied dates and numerical targets. Those are now the tests.
